FULL TRUCKLOAD

Full Truckload (FTL) Shipping

When your freight fills a trailer, or needs one to itself, we secure a dedicated truck from our vetted carrier network and keep you updated from pickup to delivery.

When full truckload makes sense

FTL is the right fit when a shipment takes up most of a 53-foot trailer, when it is heavy, or when it should not be handled at terminals along the way. Your freight is loaded once, travels direct and is unloaded once.

Because the trailer is dedicated to your load, transit is faster and more predictable than shared freight, and there is less handling that could lead to damage.

How we handle your FTL load

You work with one freight agent who matches your load with a carrier whose equipment, lane experience and safety record fit the shipment. We negotiate the rate, confirm pickup and delivery appointments, and manage the paperwork.

While the load is moving, we stay in contact with the carrier and update you proactively, so you are never chasing a status.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much freight qualifies as a full truckload?

Generally, shipments of 10 or more pallets, over roughly 15,000 lbs, or freight that needs a trailer to itself move best as FTL. If you are unsure, send us the details and we will recommend FTL or LTL.

What equipment can you arrange?

Through our carrier network we arrange dry vans, refrigerated trailers and flatbeds. Tell us about your freight and we will match the right equipment.
